Our Hospital
We are a full-service, modern animal hospital striving to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine in a welcoming atmosphere at an affordable price.  The compassion for you and your family is no less important than quality care we provide.  Our goal is healthy, happy pets and our passion is to prevent suffering through education, prevention, and treatment. We strive to evaluate and offer every available treatment option – from holistic medicine, to modern high tech tools, to time-tested common sense remedies.  We believe that the best owners are informed owners, and we will take the time to educate you on everything from the basics of bringing a new pet home to your family, to the details of your pet’s specific condition. 

We are undergoing many changes here at River Road.  Formerly River Road Veterinary Clinic run by Dr Amanda Glass, the hospital is now owned by Dr Alyssa Travis.  Dr Travis will be adding orthopedics, exotic animal medicine, emergency/after hours care, grooming and digital x-ray technology to our already extensive list of services.  So in addition to providing the highest quality care for your dogs and cats, we also welcome all your “other” family members including pocket pets, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles, birds and all kinds of furry, feathered, and scaly friends.
